• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

trouble pairing SM10 with my SM10H headset

I am having a terrible time getting my SM10 paired to my SMH10 headset. I did all the things in the how to video and still can't get it to work. My phone paired fine as well as my wife's headset. I must be missing something. What has to be hooked up in order to pair the SM10 to the headset? Both units are charged up.
HELP PLEASE :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Clear all your pairings on the headset(s) and start over. The SMH10 headset only will pair with one BT stereo music device. So pair to the SM10 first. Then pair the other headset to the SM10. All other devices like your phone will then pair as hands free devices after that.

This is just a guess based on the info you gave me. Give it a try.

Hope this helps...you can call them on their customer service line (866-300-1235) as well (I did once, on hold for awhile, but tech was good). :thumbup:

Wish you a success!

If you bought as a pair the headsets would already be paired together. You can pair up to three devises but can only use one at a time. i.e.; if your phone rings and you answer it you will have to go back and turn on the xm on the GPS using menu or tools again after hanging up. Someone correct me if I am wrong here. This is how mine is set up.

I finally deleted the phone after realizing I am suppose to be enjoying my ride and answering my phone is not included. I stop every 100-150 miles for gas and check my phone then. Thats enough! Now I just enjoy "Dire Straits" and "Asleep at the Wheel" as the desert slides by.
