There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. OUTSTANDING Meet and Greet in Richmond, VA

Just wanted to drop a few lines to thank everyone who attended the SRAOD Meet and Greet at McLean's in Richmond today. It was great seeing old friends, and meeting new folks, as well. Unfortunately, my wife was unable to attend...but everything is a little bit better now. For me, I just returned home from a very spectacular ride with a bunch of wonderful and amazing people. Having said that, for those that attended, jump on here and let everyone know that you got home safely. Until we ride again...fair winds and following roads!!!!!!

I had an amazing time today! Got a lot of good riding in, and my 9yr old cannot stop,talking about how cool the Jamestown Ferry was. I met a lot of great folks, and can't wait to ride with everyone again. We started out at 45 degrees, and by the time we got into Williamsburg, it was 80 degrees, yes! We just kept shedding layers as we went south.

Wow was this posted somewhere?

I went for a nice 2.5 hour ride today in the awesome weather. :thumbup:

Would be nice to at least know when stuff like this happens? lol

.

I was really looking forward to this, today . . . here is a picture I took at the rest area near Fredericksburg . . . before I got the dreaded "Limp Home" and had to drop out. Next time! 22 March 14.jpg

Looking For Round Two???

At the brunch, I briefly spoke of two wineries in Kent County. Saude Creek and Gauthier Vineyard. Both properties are beautiful and have areas that you can picnic. Just thinking out of the box here, would anyone be interested in joining up or meeting at either vineyard for an impromptu picnic? I'm not promoting drinking and driving, but you could pick up a few bottles of Virginia wines for the wine cabinet back home. Like I said before, my wife and I enjoy going to the different wineries in the area and tasting their wares. She actually does the tasting and I do the buying. I've come to trust her pallet over the years and she has yet to pick a wine that I didn't enjoy. Interested? Let me know, and I'll take the lead on planning something. Northern Virginia riders will find that this area is not very far from your neck of the woods. From Virginia Beach, it's only about about an hours ride, or so. Basically, it's not too far out of the way for any of us. And the ride to get there is half the fun. If you like wine, enjoy the company of fellow Spyder Ryders, or just want the opportunity to soak in the views of some beautiful property...this is the chance you've been waiting for. I kinda' sound like a pitch man!!!!! Let's see if we can generate some interest for something like this. All you will need is a picnic lunch and the desire to just get away! Soooo, what do you think? PM me if this is the getaway you're looking for, and we can work on the dates...weather permitting, of course.
:yes::yes:

Snoopy, You're Invited Too

If you are up for it, I am working on getting a ride together for a picnic at one of the Vineyards I spoke about above. BYOF (Bring Your Own Food). Working on dates, right now. If you would like, I can keep you posted. No need in feeling left out:roflblack:

I'll probably be up for it, depending on how long it takes them to fix my Spyder at the Fredericksburg dealer . . . and how long it takes me to find a way to Fredericksburg to pick it up!
