• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody seen this eBay posting...

You know what they say.....

Yes, you were right! eBay now says, "The item you requested (191068334664) is invalid, still pending, or no longer in our database. Please check the number and try again. If this message persists, the item has either not started and is not yet available for viewing, or has expired and is no longer available."

Either it was pulled by the owner or sold quick!

I would have "bought is now" at that price. Seller has decent feedback but gave no exact location which is odd. Just said United States.
There was a 2012 Brown RT Limited with that exact description and trailer out here in Escondido Ca. last year for sale. The seller did not trust it because of several visits to the dealer for limp mode issues. At the time he was asking $24K (what he owed on it) and wanted out of it fast! The pictures do look familiar to this one.

Anyway had that been local to me, I would have jumped on it.

Unbelievable!

For $8,400, no way! Somebody better check their VIN ... here it is from the post: 2BXJBRC19CV001172

I doubt this seller even has possession of the machine ... HUGE RED FLAGS on this one!

Best Regards .... Ann

The link seems to work for me. When I was looking to buy a Spyder a female called me. She was supposedly from the San Francisco area and offered me a one year old Rt-SE for $8,000. I told her that I wanted it. She said just send me a cashiers check and she would ship it. I said, that I will pick it up, and will bring cash. She never again answered her phone.

This is sounds like a similar scam.

It's been re-listed and if you go to eBay Motors, and search can-am motorcycles, you'll see it . . . there is also an eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection program to protect from fraud as long as you do the purchase entirely through eBay. . .

The link in the first post is live, but it is NOT eBay. It is Melu.co.za which appears to be a web domain in Zambia.

Looks like a total fraud. Searching for that VIN on actual eBay turned up no result for me.

Based on price alone--this one does look to good to be true. I would recommend being very careful if you have your checkbook in hand.

Everyone definitely keep you checkbook safely away from this!

That domain in Zambia looks like it has totally spoofed an EBay look and feel. Click on anything there to buy and say goodbye to your money and likely your identity too.

Lots of bad people in this world. Sadly.

I'm pretty sure it was the same " LADY " :yikes: :roflblack: , That sent me info ( allegedly through E-Bay ) about a Jag XKE that was way under priced. I also said I would pick it up and pay in CASH.........Never heard back :lecturef_smilie: :gaah: :cus: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:.......Mike

Very weird that is shows on Ebay but when you click the link to see it, it redirects to the fake site!

Someone figured out how to hack Ebay links.

I am going to "ask the seller a question" and see what I get back :)

Bob

Woa.... be careful. The "ask seller a question" link tries to open your local Email client!!!!

This is trying to pish info as well.

Bob

Also if you click on "watch item" to add it to your watch list you get this back from Ebay.
