RSS to ST

The dealer just got a sweet 2013 ST limited on their floor. I am wanting to pull the trigger and get it. But then I started thinking about my current bike. With my current bike I do not do a lot of touring. Would I be better off getting the RSS model and save some money?

I would like to hear from people who upgraded from a RS to a ST model. To see what they like about it.

That is exactly what I did. When I first started looking at Spyders I thought about the RT but didn't want to spend that much and I was new to riding. I bought the RSS and rode it for 15000 miles.
When I saw the ST, I thought long and hard. I wanted the Cruise control, integrated sound and GPS and the electronic parking brake. We had modified my RSS to sit up more but didn't have to do those mods to the ST.
I also have the trailer and hooking it up to the ST was a bonus to be able to adjust the set points for the transmission and braking.
I loved my RSS but love my ST-Limited even more.

It was easy, but once again a couple panels had to come off to get to the upper bolts. :banghead:

I also intend to get the Ron Bar & links. I see now that BRP is showing adjustable Fox Shocks without the sway bar. PN-219400470 It shows temporarily out of stock & no price. It also says it is for 14 RS & ST, should not matter as it should bolt right up to the 13's. I would think the shock only kit would be half the price.

I saw the 2 kits listed, but was told the one w the sway bar was what I needed for my 2013 STS eventhough I already have the Ronbar on.

I'm curious if the 14's come with the upgraded swaybar and that is why they are offering the shock only kit for them? Maybe someone will chime in & help on this one. BRP did not change anything from 13 to 14 on the ST except body panels. Right?
