• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm done gambling

I'm done gambling with road debris

The way the roads are looking this year, I just ordered a Spyderpops Missing Belt Guard. I want to hedge my bets as much as possible.
The asphalt is really taking a beating this year, or maybe I'm just driving the car imagining I'm on my Spyder.

Roads are being referred to as "roadpoloypse" in Minnesnowta......so many potholes and are getting bigger. Too cold to really do anything about patching those potholes....what a great day -- 15 below zero this morning and a "high" of -1 below zero -- tied another record.....these are records we can do without! :banghead::banghead:

Hoping spring gets here soon!!

Better safe than sorry.

I am guessing your not going to want to hear that it is 40 above and sunny here in AK. Okay, I wont mention it. :roflblack:

No problem....great! Good for you! I wish everyone has the ability to ryde year around if possible....just been a very cold and snowy winter here and need to vent some of the frustration of living here this winter -- thanks for listening! You remember your days in the area - right? Duluth has been below zero I'm guessing 60+ days this winter....

Someday, we'll have a "winter home" in the south and be "snow birds"....hoping within a couple years....may have to move that up based on this year!! :banghead:

We have the good temps--but cannot ryde yet. The Spyder does not do well on ice covered roads. I have about a quarter mile of ice covered road that is currently keeping me off my ryde.

Consider the Rio Grande Valley, where the "snow birds" are called Winter Texans. It's about as far south as Hialeah FL. We have a neighbor from Ontario Canada who pulled his 2011 RTS in a small enclosed trailer behind his Class C motorhome. We ryde almost year-round!
