There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I bought these and had them installed in an enclosed 20 ft. trailer. I had been using the ratchet straps since 2010, and had mixed results with them. We did some long trips and trips to the dealer, who is 90 miles away.
When I first thought about buying them, I too thought they were pricey, but after using them, and seeing how easy and well they work, I think they are worth it. When you are hauling around a $30,000 Spyder, you want to make sure it stays secure. Seems like a better investment, than some farkles in my opinion.

OK, admit I have never tied down the Spyders but have been trailering carss to events for many years using ratchet straps and or wheel baskets.

I don't understand what these pricy brackets are supposed to do for me that the large box of straps I already own will not. Why is it supposedly so hard to tie down a Spyder on a flat bed trailer? I plan to haul our two to Durango.

I think the same way. I don't get it. I would like to be educated on this. What I do now is use two motorcycle straps in the front--each hooked to the sway bar and then to the respective sides of a flat bed trailer. I then take one strap and loop it through the rear wheel and ratchet to the right, and do the same on the left. I do not understand how come the super clamps are better than this...can someone explain?

I use straps myself, although the Superclamps offer a lot of convenience that would be handy sometimes. If you are going to use straps, however, do it right! Tying down through the swaybar or the a-frames is not good. You can cause irreversible suspension damage. Tie them down through the wheels, as BRP prescribes.

Love em!

I have them in the toyhauler drive the spyder into them strap each side your done. More time to ride, I hate unraveling straps, seems like you can never have enough straps to hold something down to hold in place. The super clamps are expensive but worth it!
My 2 cents.

Really! I didn't realize that. I will change my method. Thanks.

Super clamp

I am using it and loving it designed for the sole purpose of moving he spider it rocks worth every cent if you have to trailer any time

Use them in the Toy Hauler

Love them! I installed them in the toy hauler where its most important that Spyder doesn't get lose. Never a problem and takes me maybe 2 minutes to strap down and less than that to take out. Well worth the extra money! I'd say buy them and enjoy!

Has anyone found a source for buying these at a better price or more reasonable shipping cost ?

I have used the Black & Gray Chocks for almost 6 years and they have performed flawlessly for thousands of miles of towing both of the Spyders I have owned.
I would recommend them highly, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
KYSPYDER
Interested.... Which model did you use? Did you use their Quik Disconnect kit also ?
