• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone installed the REAR trunk liner?

Need some tips on installing it. Looks like getting the holes for the 12v outlet and music adapter is not going to be easy, don't seem to line up good. Thanks!!!

Yup! I've done two of them now...
Getting that bugger unfolded, and then stuffed down into the trunk takes some patience...
I normally mount up the velcro on the front inner panel first, and secure the liner there...
You kind of get an impression from the liner, that it's molded to fit around all of the nooks, crannies, and bulges in the trunk; use those for your guides! :2thumbs:
If you work your way around to the sides next; you'll kind of get the idea how the panels overlap each other... patience, and a second set of eyeballs never hurt!
Good luck!
Oh! Do you have a Limited with the shelf? You'll need to remove the shelf from the bike, and then make a slit in the line where it meets up with that flat and angled part of the panel, then; re-install the shelf through it!

No shelf. I am doing it this weekend most likely. Thanks for the tips!!!!!

I think removing the 12v outlet and reinstalling it over it would look best, but I bet that is one pain in the tail!!!!

If you look close at the pic at the store link (enlarged version), it looks like that is what your "supposed to do".

I found that the holes in the liner were... close enough for me!
Do you see where the liner kind of molds itself around the bends and kinks in that front panel? That's your best guide for successful installation job!

Yeah, I see that. I will pull the velcro this weekend. (Its too cold right now!!). Thanks Bob!!!

I couldn't figure out how to get a decent picture of that dark hole ... I hope that you have better luck than I did in documenting the process!

It will also be helpful if you use a tool similar to this one to work the liner material around the power outlet and the curved corners.

 I just used a set of un-educated thumbs; I've got TEN of them! :D

I think he means to put the fabric behind the outlet. But, the hole is smaller than the surround, so it will be difficult, if not impossible to do it without either removing the outlet and reinstalling or making a cut on the fabric and then hiding it behind the outlet. Or do just like Bob, and put it over it and don't worry about it. I will let you know this weekend.
