• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest 2014 Weather

Lets all hope that the long range forecasters miss this one entirely. Midwest
forecast range is cold and colder for April. Is this cold stuff ever going to end?

Good luck on the long range forecast!

Here in SE Missouri it was 60 deg last week and has been below 30 deg this week. We Missourians love to experience all four seasons. And sometimes in the same week.

Bring layers and and good rain gear. It is a roll of the dice! But having SF a week later than years past will hopefully hit good weather. As they say, "It is what it is!"

Hey, Farmers Almanac says April and May in Springfield area will be drier and warmer than usual. That's the forecast I'm believing!

We have to be like the Boy Scouts: "Always Prepared".

SteveMac's description of the weather has been the same here and pretty much all around: One day we would be wearing longjohns, next day (literally) wearing shorts and t-shirt, going back to winter gear the following day! This weather has been loco!:banghead:

So as I stated in the beginning, "Always Prepared". There is still plenty of time to gather all necessary gear.... the question is how to transport it!

Okay I'm going by this one too :doorag:[/QUOTE

Me too

Yep. Or if you are a "lint in the pocket tightwad" like me, the Harbor Freight option I just picked up. Marked down to $349 and then a 20% extra discount on a Feb coupon... $280 plus tax.

It won't look as as good or last as long as the 622. But for $300 and change, I can toss it in three years and get another if necessary!

Got it at the HF on Watson Rd in STL. Some assembly required! LOL

....or you can re-built a trailer frame and make it like this. Room up front for a marine cooler.
