There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Need help no buying

OK, we want a 2014 RTS semi auto in Yellow with a backrest. Now for the info part how much are you guys paying for one, please give me the details, like: the bike $$$, shipping, assembly, doc, etc. please
and how can we just order one? as the dealers are telling me they don't have one on the floor and don't know when one will come in. So how do we get good price and how can we order one as we have never done this before. :gaah:

You can order them from the Can-AmBRP website the way you want it,you can't haggle the price, but you can order it the way you a
want. go there and Build it to find out $$$,then check other dealers to find one at the $$ yyou want.

This is no different than buying a car. Figure out what you want and then go see what deal you can get from your area dealers.

You can't order a Spyder on the BRP site, you have to see a dealer. You can only configure one online and see the MSRP.

Your eventually going to want a dealer even if its just getting maintenance supplies like filters etc. As for buying you should figure what you want then find a dealer who will work to get what you ask for at a price you can live with. It is my understanding that dealers have no solid delivery schedules until the roadsters are on the truck headed for the dealer this year.

Thanks, what are people paying for them, as I am getting quotes from

So I have that Spyder marked at $28,049.
I have a freight and destination charge of $697.63
My prep and assembly on the Spyder RTs is $588.00
License, registration, and DOC comes out to $837.92
Sales Tax of 8.1% of $2,412.47

The driver back rest is $449.00

With everything said the grand total for that exact Spyder is $33,034.02

So here is the break down for the Spyder

2014 Spyder RTS SE6

$27699 (Black, White,Yellow, Cognac)
$840.00 Seat
$425.00 Backrest
Art,

If I total this up would it be the O.T.D. price less the tax and Lic. ?

Yes, I may need to add tax and a $65.00 doc fee. This does not include any labor if we are installing seat.
Thanks,

What do you all think???

Chris, if you are willing to take a drive to Henderson, NV (Las Vegas) Pro Shop Motorsports and Marine has a 2014 RT Limited that they will allow you to take for a test drive as long as you have a motorcycle endorsement on your license. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.

Ride now dealerships in Tucson

I test rode a 2013 @ the store on the East side of town and bought a 2014 RT Limited on the Northwest side off Ina road where I live. That shop would be easy for you to access off I-10. They do have 2 new Spyders there but unsure of model. Phone # is 520 579 3939. Ask for Chris, sales manager. If you do pursue this thru them then appreciate if you drop my name (Tim Rollins) since they would give me some freebies. Yep being greedy. Hope this helps.

More info on my purchase

The sticker price is basically what the dealer stuck me with but I did get them to throw in the back rest and install it. That's $450. As far as ordering one I had to give a deposit of $1,000. It took from November to mid January before I got my new ride. Seems to me to be a disconnect between dealers and manufacture on delivery date. That is what I am getting from posts.

Pretty sure 2 new Spyders @ Ride Now on Ina rd are Rt Limited.

The first time I rode a Spyder was at Bike Week in Phx. You can get on the schedule on line. They have a closed course so you can ride without a motorcycle endorsement.

I will be test riding next week in Calif. now all I need is what all you out there are giving up for one of these. I posted what I have been told for the OTD price from ok to OMG...

Money isn't everything!

I can fully appreciate your thoughts behind getting the precise Spyder that your wife wants at the best possible price.
It's a sensible thing to do.
BUT I would also look at the bigger picture.
Your Spyder is going to need to be serviced and if any repairs are needed you are going to want to take it to a local dealer.
That's who I would be buying the new bike from. Even for a few hundred dollars more. Get your local guy on your side!
If you buy the bike locally and get your local dealer involved in all aspects of your Spyder ownership then the service that he
gives you will be the best that he knows how to give.
He will want your repeat custom and will make sure that his work is beyond reproach.
Just my tuppence worth!!
