• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have installed the Sena sm10 BRP dongle in the trunk of my 2013 rt limited but cannot get the radio to go thru it. The phone and ipod work fine but unable to hear the fm radio thru the helmet headset. Anyone have any ideas how to get this to work?

I am not sure about the 13's but on my 12 I needed the entertainment harness to make it work.

Please explain how you installed it. Did you install the harness that comes in the kit from BRP directly to the radio under the right rear side.

7 Pin plug in wire harness from BRP in trunk connection.

That will not work. That is the Ipod connector and there are only audio lines going into the radio and none coming out to feed the dongle. Sorry. You needed to buy the dongle kit from BRP that contains the harness or you can build your own harness if you are handy at that sort of thing.

Dave, is yours the whole set-up?

Check out the price they show listed.... I have them right now for $114.95
you save $135.04. WOW good deal right :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I thought you said yours is only the Sena SM10 and did not include the BRP proprietary cord? The BRP part number is 219400458 and costs $215.00 (delivered) from Bert's Mega Mall (a site sponsor). This is for the 2013 models. I just bought one and it arrived today.

At the link below you will see my experience figuring this out and installing it. Also their is a link in my post to the install instructions for the BRP dongle.

One difficulty I ran into getting the headsets to play from the bike was that the volume control on the bike cannot be all the way down. That is MUTE which mutes both the speakers and the audio out to the Bluetooth dongle. One blip up makes the audio out to the dongle work and the speakers are still so low you likely cannot hear them.

Now if I could just get the dongle and the headsets to stay paired between uses....
