Who's going to Spyders in the Redwoods Aug 4-7 2013?

SO I thought I'd start a "join-up" thread for those headed to Eureka...we're headed out of the Tucson area on Fri Aug 1 ...heading to the coast and then up the PCH to Eureka..Interested in hooking up along the route and riding together all or part?

Spyder in the redwoods

What I thought it was going to be in Sonora again, o well, we are in Apple Valley Ca. If anyone goes through here we might hook up with you for the ride up.

I posted this previously...it has our route. Looks like the Spyder Ryders of America Sacramento Chapter is looking to caravan (discussion still in the preliminary stages) but all are welcome to ryde along as well.

Spyders in the Redwoods Dates have been set for August 4 - 7, 2014 barring any unforseen issues. My girlfriend and I will be ryding our Spyders coming out of Sacramento (Fair Oaks specifically) and heading up I-5 North on up through Red Bluff, then 36 West to 101 North on up to Eureka. If there are any other Spyder ryders who are planning on making the trip along that path, feel free to PM me and maybe we can all travel together. Even if we don't travel together, i'd be interested in knowing how many others are planning to go.

Aug 2 PCH to San Simeon Pines
Aug 3 PCH...maybe Hearst Castle then Bodega Bay Inn for the night
Aug 4 PCH to Eureka, CA...Red Lion Inn

When are you planning to leave?

Larry..not quite sure yet. Discussed with a few other SRA members what day they wanted to leave but everything is in the beginning stages. I'm going to bring it up at the next meeting and suggest that we extend the offer to travel with the S.F. chapter as well.
