• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Beatin a dead horse

Maybe..!!

I have the hindel exhaust and it works fine. There are others and those that have them will chime in...good luck..!!

Spyder1attitude. They are a site sponsor. Check out the banner on the home page. This is a loud pipe but I love mine!

HMF

I have the HMF exhaust. Easy replacement for the stock pipe and has a great sound. No fuel modifiers needed if you leave the intake stock.

Your choice of exhaust is unlimited, if you have no modification to the air intake system, such as K and N air filters. The computer will compensate for the flow of exhaust .

Sounds like changing intake and exhaust can cause problems, but pretty safe still doing exhaust only.

the yoshimura pipe r77 is fine i got one on my 2013 rt,not too loud and my bike runs good.

I have an HMF and would recommend it to anyone. The sound is great, price can't be beat and you don't need a tuner or any other mods to make it work.

Unfortunately, not always the case. After I added the Yoshi to my RS, I got popping something fierce all by the lonesome. I soon added a fuel controller (and the aftermarket intake simultaneously) and I've managed to get it all taken care of (it'll still pop until it's warmed up, i.e. I don't shift up or down until I have at least a bar on the temp gauge).

Wow, really?

Seems like a crapshoot, like each bike has it's own specific tune and some compensate and some don't? :banghead:

How come...

...Nobody asked what year bike you have?
The older 990 series engines took a completely different system, than their 2013 brethren with the 991...
