• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Quick change panel question

Bought our RT in late Sept, haven't received anything for the new kit. Erags says we don't have the new kit on yet. He would know. We had the 600 mile service done (was closer to 900 miles) and dealer didn't say anything about it. Guess we'll have to send an email to BRP.

I took mine to the dealer between services and had him install new panel and grille. He charge me $30.00 for labor which I thought was fair. Because I do my own oil changes.

Bought the panel kit for $37.00 and installed myself in a hour. Got tired of waiting for BRP and I wasn't going to pay a dealer close to $300. for an oil change just to get a "FREE" panel kit.

oil panel

Bought my RT in early Aug 2012 and had my 600 mile oil change at dealer about September. They did not install the new panel and I was there yesterday for a trailer hitch and asked them for one. They sail I had to get a voucher from BPR and that they should of already sent one.....NO

I have a 2010 RT, My dealer says that I need a coupon from BRP to receive the New panel ?? :banghead:

There were coupons that were sent to "official" registered owners back when the program came out. The dealer should cut you a break--that was a year or more ago. In the scheme of things, an oil change panel is not that expensive an item to keep a customer happy. What a cheapskate and non customer friendly dealership. :gaah:

My dealer said that BRP is not furnishing this panel free anymore...He told me he called them today...Anyone hear anything different?...I purchased a new 2012 this summer and thought it would already have it on there, but it isn't...:dontknow:

Once again I say: There were coupons that were sent to "official" registered owners back when the program came out. The dealer should cut you a break--that was a year or more ago.
