FYI a tip on the grommets. Use a small tie wrap through them to the frame to hold them on. Things will still pop on but they will never escape again

well

the bike is apart again and i painted the inside of the upper vents and the top panels where they get mounted. i painted them flat black and they are down in the basement drying so if i get motivated tomorrow i will put them back together and take a few pictures
