• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Howdy, My friend has a Honda VTX and wants to put on an aftermarket cruise control. Real cruise, not a throttle clamp. Any recommendations on the best product(s). Thanks

There are a couple of VTX forums on the net, I am using a tablet right now, but do a Google search for VTX. I've got an 08 VTX1300, I started researching for a cruise control for mine, but they were very expensive, and I decided to stick with a throttle control, it does the job of reducing wrist stiffness. I've got the type that goes over the switch console, I had one of the 'pinch' style on my CBR250 and it worked great on it, but I think the return spring on the VTX is stronger than the CBR, so not sure it would work. Don't even bother with the type that looks like a nut cracker, the one I had broke the second time I used it.

There used to be a site called Glens VTX Garage a few years ago, when I had my VTX1300. He had a lot of good stuff. No idea now

I think Glen's VTX Garage is still in business .... spydercowboy bought a few items from them late 2011 or early 2012 for his VTX1300 (just before he had his accident in January 2012).

Best Regards .... Ann
