Hi All Spyder Ryders in the Northwest

Are there any groups or Spyder Ryders who want to Join or start a new group?

I am in Salem, Oregon and interested in setting something up.

I have no idea how to go about starting, joining or participating in a group.

I know there are a number of Spyders here in the Salem Area and cities near by.

Brownsville, Lebanon, Corvallis, Albany, Jefferson, Salem, Woodburn, Silverton, Dallas lets hear from you!

if you want a chapter you can check with Ken Miller. I belong to the San Diego and the LA chapters. You can also check the riding groups/clubs on the home page upper left...good luck..!! :thumbup:

Columbia River Spyder Ryders of America

Yes there is already a chapter in the greater Portland area which has 88 Members and is growing they meet every first Sunday of the month at Elmer's resturant by Portland Speedway. Five Spyders, with 7 "riders" just returned from a day long tour of Glacier National Park. If we had known you were out there, we would have invited you, too. There are very few Spyders in our part of the Pacific Northwest, so would like to hear from any others that read this. Our little group is not an official Spyder Ryder group, but it wouldn't hurt to start one up. Riding season is winding down, for this year, so we'd have all the off-season to figure things out, and organize, if anyone is interested. You can PM me on this website. Take care, CapNCrunch

We just finished a 2,500 mile trip into Idaho & Montana, with two Spyders in the group. We start planning our trips months in advance, and participants follow the rules: No drugs, pay your own way, and ride your own bike - no two ups...

Other than our annual trip, there's no time for group stuff...

Hey Mike and Dan...keep your eye out for Heart of WA Ryde 2014
It will be June 6 & 7, 2014..location here at my place. Already got the BBQ dude lined up (trust me his food is reallllly good... BUT nothing compares to hotglue and flamingobabe's Houston BBQ--recommend putting that one on your bucket list)...OK I digress...have the band hired...will be a great ryde(s)....plenty of room to camp....reasonable (oh yea and a couple high enders) motels...gorgeous country...anyway pencil in the dates and stay "tuned". If you get this way before then..my door is open...I just got back from a 4 hr. jaunt...left home at 60 degrees (NICE)..pushing 90 now...still nice BUT I really prefer the cool fall days...everyone ryde safe...:yes:

My wife and I are former Spyder folk. We are presently at a campground in Silverton till tomorrow morning,then heading backt o Sutherlin. We ride a GW/sidecar rig. Mt Angel is having a huge German "Septembofest" starting tomorrow. Wish we could stay for that.

There is usually a few heading up to the Oyster Run in Anacortes,WA. That is a HUGE event. Lots of motorcycles and oysters!

What you will miss is the October Fest and Homer Davenport Days!
