• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery Connections ... How can BRP make them better?

We're always hearing about checking the battery connections when troubleshooting. There's the infamous spinning ground lug I seem to have heard of many times.

How can BRP make the basic battery and ground connections better?
What about another switched accessory buss as well? Comments?

They don't need to improve the connection; they need to get their dealers to believe that it's worthy or a little more attention prior to delivery...

The battery connections have nothing to do with the delivery setup, You can tighten them till the cows come home [a little farm wisdom] They still tend to loosen, Why' who knows??, Add a star washer and they stay tight... Nothing bounces around more than my Side-bys and Quads, And I never had a battery connection lossen... No star washers needed with them.....

I've never had a problem with mine either; no star washers... I just checked them to make sure that they were tight... :D
And they've stayed that way for three years...

That's because every time you check them you tighten them.:roflblack:, I Put the stars on in early May of 08, And never checked them again, Never even looked at the battery, Traded the Spyder in Sept of 2011, and as far as I know the connections are still tight.:dontknow:
