• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glove box "bag"

Over time, wonder if its vibration and shifting will cause the clear coat to wear through or scratches?

I looked at this a while back its quite nice, it's felt lined on the back to protect the tupperware.

However being a belt and braces man I would put some 3m film to protect the glove box. I saw an advert the other night for spray on film, spray it on and it sets just like the stick on film and you can still peel it off again like the film.

Waste of Money

If you want to carry your GPS in your line of sight while driving, get a GPS car adapter and mounting kit. Mount the holder on the dashboard (couple simple self taping screws), run the car adapter wires (minus the plug) down to your ignition switch and connect. If there is a converter with the kit, it will have to be included also. This was the first thing I did on my 2012 RTS and it is much better than looking down at the BRP suggested GPS mounting location.

I bought one at PitBull's during Spyderfest.
Haven't seen the inside of my glovebox since.
Install is about 30 seconds (if that much).
The front see thru compartment is perfect for iPhone or GPS.
Compartment behind see thru is big enough for driving gloves, sunglasses, wallet, etc.
So there is a good amount of room.
Only issue is that it's not waterproof.
If it starts to rain, I take it off and put it in the trunk.
All around, I'm glad I bought it !!

MurphyBrown & I each got one at PitBull's during SF. Works great. Map directions in front see-thru work well. Sunglasses, etc. in other pockets.

I bought one the weekend before Spyderfest at Pitbull and put my garagedoor opener in the clear pocket. Love it. Bj

I bought on a while back, I like it but it is worthless for veiwing GPS or anything else. The supposedly clear pouch is in fact a frosty/ cloudy. otherwise for additional storage it great.
Exactly-the "Clear pouch is not clear and basically worthless for viewing anything in it.

Is it leather or vinyl? Think the straps will work on an RS if they're long enough to fit around the center panel? Doubly secure since I'd have to remove the panel to attach it. I installed a heli-bar and now the handlebar cover squishes the heck out of the OEM tank bag.

That bag looks a little bit small for my taste. Honestly, I'm sure theres a lot of better GPS mounting solutions out there. I've seen some solutions where you can just mount in the middle near the handle bars.
As far as a little glove box bag, I would prefer something much more...subtle and smaller. Check out http://www.vikingbags.com/tool-bags-25-ctg.html OR just stuff it into your pocket :ohyea:
