• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SEAT CABLE

Well today I stop to get gas turn the key to open seat, cable snaps. Only 1 gal. left but enough to get back home. I have had problems with this since I got the " machine" (as my wife and I call it)
I had it lubed at the shop and have had to mess with it many times. so the cable has been ordered and will be installed. It seems like it broke up at the switch, Took the latch off so I can at least get fuel.
But after this repair if it happens again, taking it off and leaving it off.
So that is my tale of woe for now.

If the dealer can't get a cable locking system to work rignt? :dontknow: if I'd keep him long.

Wow. That's an annoyance that I would rather not have to worry about. I have the seat with the cable on the 2011 and have wondered what would happen--if? I have a corbin on the 2010 and don't use the locking mechanism on it since it has the gas door on it.

Hope you get your problem solved soon.

I have had both the truck and seat cables break on me. Was able to take a look at the truck cable and it was completely rusted. Don't know what caused it. But what sucks is they're not covered under warrenty unless something else causes them to fail.
