• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can-Am trailer plate install

Went to take off the temp tag on my trailer today to put the permanent tag on. The torx head just spins put never comes out. Before I take the inside of the trailer apart I thought I would see if this is normal or if the dealer messed up when they put the temp tag on.

Nobody has taken a license plate off a 622 trailer? :dontknow:

Had temp tag and replaced with permanent. No issue. While I admittedly do not recall what is back there. If it is convenient for you, I would recommend letting the dealer make it right. If he put the temp on. My thought is. A not so cool dealer may be hesitant to help if the customer has been messing with things. jmt - (just my thoughts)

I have two screws back there but have not put on the plate yet. If it spins I'd take it back. You should be able to get to the backside if you take the plastic off on the inside. I've taken off the tail light side but not the middle.

Edit: mine are button head cap screws with allen driver...

Bob, if the nut on the inside of the trailer is spinning, remove the 6 or so screws that hold the inner plastic panel in place (inside the rear of the trailer) and put a wrench on the nut while you turn the screw on the outside.

I have taken my plate off a few times and never had any problems. I think your dealer messed up:banghead: when he put your temporary tag on

Just looked like a giant PITA because it has the net system installed. I called the dealer and they said to bring it in. I'll let them deal with their mess up.
