• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When I bought my 98 GL1500 it came with a pretty good matching trailer. I never used it or thought I would use it so when I traded the 98 in for the 09 I sold the trailer.

Then there was Spyderfest... as a :ani29: owner I can see why I want a trailer now and I'm heading out at 3AM to drive 680 miles to pick one up so I can have it ready for the MV owners even and the Lamont BBQ.

JOhn,
I'm glad to hear that you got that trailer! :2thumbs:

Maybe as you accumulate some miles on it; you could whisper in the ear of my Missus a little bit about how great they are
;)

I got it in the back of my truck. Now if I can finger out how add a photo from my smarter than me phone.

Edit: I had to wait till I got home to add the photo. The Insert Image box on the forum doesn't play nice with an eye-phone.

I can say one thing for sure after driving 1400 miles in 36 hrs the formost thing on your mind is...
NAPPING
The good thing is I know where Maggie Valley is now...

I took this at about mile 875 in the trip on the way back.

The trailer is a bit darker blue than the Spyder but I'm ok with that.

Don't have a hitch on my F6 yet and I really miss not having a trailer on that all ready. You did good. :doorag:

Thanks, I need to get a trailer hitch for the GL1800 now, the trailer color doesn't match it either so no one will know which bike it belongs with.

We bought some camp chairs before I got the trailer for the BBQ and my wife kept saying they won't fit in the trailer they are too long...

Bob, next time we meet up you can tow it for me so it matches... bring some flames stickers.
