There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Harley Davidson Spyder look a like "NOT"

Don't get me wrong - I like Harleys but I have a feeling when they come out w/ this it's gonna cost triple what the Spyder costs! And it will still leak oil too. :)

it's to innovative for harley they will never build it and if they do imagine the recalls on that one ....

At least they would probably do recalls.... unlike Can Am. Where is the SE5 shift fix recall, steering recall, etc...

Don't get me wrong, I love my spyder. But all the repair issues people are having scares me.

That is Fugley...looks like a first year Industrial Design student prototype.
For $25000, I'd be leaning towards the
"Brudeli Leanster"...www.brudelitech.com The company is based out of Norway and have no plans on shipping stateside as of now, but will ship direct to you. Not street legal for the USA.

The purchase price on the Harley will be more than the Can Am, but then again, so will be the selling price at trade in time. With the reputation the Spyder is getting because of BRPeees failure to even acknowledge known problems, much less issue a recall to fix them, used ones won't be worth much !!

But it WAS cheaper than some Harleys! What more do you want??? :joke:
:agree:with that but kept mine for backup witch was a good thing my :spyder:has had alot of down time this season but still managed around 9000 miles 7000 on H-D when you have to wait 3+ weeks for slip joint gaskets that is a bad thing there is no excuse for that :coffee:

I just really doubt they will build it. But, who knows? If they do, again; I'm sure it would cost too much for me to ever justify. Honda sells their Goldwing Trike for $30,000. The Valkyrie Rune was (is) $30,000. There are certainly more than a few $30,000, and up motorcycles out there. That Harley, I'm guessing, would sell for about $40,000. Maybe more. In this present economy, I'm really thinking it won't be put into production.

But, maybe! Lol!

I wonder where Harley would price a reverse trike in the marketplace. I would think that a reverse trike is not nearly as expensive to build as the traditional trike, which starts as a motorcycle and the "trike" is all an addition.

I bet they would price it around the price of an Ultra and much less than a trike. Could even come in less if they really want to steal the potential market from BRP. I also bet they would come after the potential Spyder consumer as there is really no other competition in a reasonable price point.

I would doubt that a significantly expensive reverse trike from Harley (or anyone) would have enough of a market to make it worth their time. If Harley (or Honda, Yamaha, etc) price it right and make if fun to ride, BRP is in trouble as I doubt the market is large enough for too much competition.

Actually HD's new trike the Triglide is a factory built trike. Granted it is a joint venture with Lehman, but it is no add on kit. The MSRP for the base is $29,000 and that's without reverse.

I read today in a UK motorbike weekly that Harley have offically!! stated that the leaning trike had been dropped due to the lack of interest and that they had no intension of developing the trike in the near future......
