• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lower Spoiler Trims for RT

I'm looking to purchase a new set of chrome lower spoiler trims for my RT, to replace the stock black plastic ones.

Does anyone know if these are difficult to install, and what all is involved in putting them on?

The frunk needs to be pulled off and taken apart. (The mounting hardware for them is well-hidden...)
It's actually pretty straightforward; the instructions are complete and easy to follow.

You don't have to pull the frunk. As Dave showed in his previous pics, you'll pull off the nose piece.

Remove the black access panels under the lid.
Remove all of the push pins on top. There are two out of sight on either side of the frunk lid hinge.
Remove all of the push pins that are hidden in the tunnels. I think that there are five on each side. It's been awhile.
Then there are the four bolts/screws under the lower wing tips, two on each side. I had Pops Bump Skid and I took it off to lighten the load. It's awkward taking the nose off.
Finally, you have to remove the two bolts holding the hinge and frunk lid and set that assembly aside.

Once off, you can see the J-nuts and screws that hold those intake wings on. I had to go through all of this to add the tunnel lights from TricLED. You might want to consider one of those mods while you've got the nose off.

I realize this is an older post but thank you for it....im taking these chrome pieces out today to wrap them in Brushed metal 3m vinyl. Man you can find any thing on this forum :yes::yes: awesome.
