• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just got home from buying my '13 RS-S SE5!! :yes::yes:

I'm very excited but am trying it out on the no traffic roads and making sure I break it in properly, get used to the controls. 1 test ride and my bank account is diminished!

BTW IF you need anything I had an excellent experience with Brad at Del Amo Motorsports in Redondo Beach. :clap:

Congrats. For a good group of riders, look up the Spyder Ryder of America - LA Chapter on fb. There's also the inland empire and san diego chapters.

Way to go Chris

Congrats on the new RYDE! Enjoy your Spyder. It's an awesome machine loaded with myles of smyles!

Thanks, maybe another time though. I am still learning the basics and what note, and keep hitting the horn instead of turn signals :banghead:

I'm also still learning the shift the SE5 - pretty easy but have gone over, shifted lower but I'm sure we all have.

Keep in touch.

Issue # 2...

How the hell do you open the seat?

I pushed the key in and turned it counter-clockwise and it wouldn't unlatch?

I tried multiple times.

Try clockwise. That's how I open my seat to get to the gas. Counter clockwise is opening the trunk or what we call the frunk

I tried both ways and couldn't get it. The left side seems to be lifting up, or at least enough to see the gas cap. I'll have to try again tomorrow.

Then again the dealer didn't tell me to step on the brake pedal when starting it so it took me 30 mins to figure that out and boy did I feel stupid... :banghead:
