• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 Oustanding!!! :2thumbs: So if we were to go out and buy the folding GoldWing parts; could you be talked into making them???

well...because all of you who had broken on their anteenas.....I,ve been real careful....I just got my ST 3 days ago...had an RS before...but had a cb anteena so the hole I cut and stiched for the cover seems to fit OK on the ST...husband, hotglue will put my cb on the ST when I get home...will have to make a bigger hole in the cover...thanks for helping me be more careful...just joking...kinda

I broke mine early on... replaced it with an OEM one... which I also broke ! The second one got caught by my garage door while closing the door one night--- snagged on the door... bent it and snapped it off. :gaah:

Will replace with a stubby one... but refuse to shop at Walmart.......

Anyone know the thread size for sure?

I think that John might have mentioned it in an earlier post up the line in here...

Aha...
The threads on the GW antenna are M8 x 1.25 and the threads on the Spyder look like about M6.

Radio Antenna

How are all these antennas breaking? On the first day when I arrived home with my new '13 RT Limited, the antenna got caught in my overhead garage door while it was closing and bent completely in half just like a muffler clamp u-bolt. When I finally released it, it straightened right out like new. Later, I cut about 2 inches off so it wouldn't get caught again and I found it is made out of a carbon fiber rod - very strong and very, very flexible. Maybe a new design from BRP?

The game is afoot!
2010 RT... antenna part number: 710001402
2012 RT... antenna part number: 710002740

They're hidden in "Electrical Accesories 3"

Krazykat:

Now that you changed the height of the antenna when you program in a Willie Nelson Station you will probably be listening to Tammy Faye Baker :roflblack:
