I will be updating this first thread/post only. That way you won't have to weed through all of the posts to see what's been added. There is more info, pics and events that will be added. Stay tuned...
I will keep an eye on this thread and try to answer what questions that I have the ability and authority to do so.
Hey all, MOGANG had our meeting at Len's new store Pit Bull Power Sports yesterday. Len ordered BBQ from the Rib Crib... awesome! Afterwards we had a limo bus take us around to most of the venue sites. For those of you that think you are going to miss Cuba, MO. you'll shortly forget it once you see this area.
Address:
1332 N. Glenstone Ave.
Springfield, MO. 65802
From there we went to Finley Park. That is where the opening night ceremonies, bonfire, BBQ and fireworks will be held. The address will be posted at a later date, photos to follow soon.
The GPS coordinates are: N 37°01.876' W 093°13.583'
The next stop was Price Cutter Park, home of The Ducks. This is where Vendor Village, the bike games, closing ceremonies and fireworks finale will be held.
The GPS coordinates are: N 37°03.644’ W 093°13.583’
As soon as I have an address I’ll send it. Like I said previously, the place is soooo big that depending on where you are it gives you different addy’s.
Vendor Village will be held in the parking lot in front of the ball park. It has to be at least 10 acres and holds 1,000 cars. Another good thing is that it's all asphalt! No gravel and dust this year.
Next, we were off to the Boat House and Lake Springfield. This is where our R&R hangout and chill time will be. Canoes and paddle boats can be rented if I heard correctly.
The GPS coordinates are: N 37°06.956' W 093°15.108'
Our last stop of the day was at the drag strip, Ozark Raceway Park. Pretty cool. This is going to be a blast!
The GPS coordinates are: N 37°04.782' W 092°59.237'
We are still working on getting all of the addresses and GPS coordinates. I have some of them, but I want to get the exact addy's from Len before I post them.
More pics to follow. It's been a long weekend with lots of driving and we're both pretty beat.
Enjoy!
