• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I used to have no problem but after the latest software up date It no longer works. The drive "M" which the Ipod shows up as only accpets photos now but the Ipod still has all the old songs. Can anyone explain how to do this now. I have windows 7 for OS.

Regards

Just wondering if you have iTunes for windows 7 installed? If not you can install it from the apple website. That should allow you to install new songs to the iPod. Do you mean latest software update to the iPod iOS 6. I have not installed it yet on my apple products as I have read it is a bit snaky, I will wait until they get the bigs out of it!

Yes, it is the new 6.01 Ipod update. I have the latest I tunes for windows 7. I am not sure what I did but I accently deleted all the songs on the Ipod but when I hooked it up to the computer it immediately sync'd and loaded all the songs on. Hmmmm

A lot of people have said iOS 6 is a bit flaky! But I didn't read anything about that particular issue:dontknow:? So is all well then?

Songs are there

The songs are there, you just have to open the folder after you iPod is connected to your computer, go to properties and un-check the hide.

Now when you go back to the folder you will be able to view all the folders.

It happened to me this week, and that's how I fixed the issue.

Good luck.

I openend the Ipod, there is just one file folder labled DCIM, inside of that there is another file folder labeled 860OKMZO. I checked the properties of everything starting from the icon of the IPOD right through to the last folder and non of the hide buttons were checked to hide. What now?
