• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

why not a dual-sport on & off road Spyder ??

here in the Alps the best sold Bikes are all "dual-sports" - ryding here you have to use some open-roads to reach all your targets - I have no problem with my spyder - with the 3 wheels and the VSS its 90% perfect for off-road and easy to handle also with 2 up ..

so why should BRP not offer an "enduro-designed" version ? IMG_8228111.jpgschotterstrassen.jpgQuadro 3D.jpg

Has anyone an Idea ????

Would probably need a chain or drive shaft. Fact is I wish it had a drive shaft. Just to get out of my place I have to go down 2 miles of gravel and dirty so I'm constantly worrying about that belt.

Have ridden on some pretty rough roads on Spydee and she did great!

Would recommend SpyderPop's missing belt guard, his BumpSkid and keep an eye on the front tire alignment. Spyders have low clearance so keep that in mind too.

:agree: But nothing short of some very major shop time could turn them into mountain goats...

Anything that can be "back-yarded" onto the bike will really only help it on unpaved roads....at best!

They already have one - it's called the Outlander ATV! Many states allow these to be registered and used on the road. I had one pass me when I was doing 60 on a rural Montana road.

It seems like the Elka shocks improve that clearance issue somewhat..

I think a three wheeled Spyder would be the worst thing to have off-road. You could be sure to hit everything in the way then. I'll stick to 4-wheelers and dirtbikes for off-road thank you. :doorag:

Now that's called muddin'!

I will stick to a dirt bike for serious trail work, thank you. But a Spyder with an adjustable suspension that raises the ground clearance for gravel road duty would be a nice feature.
