• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting ready for the cold

I have two Gerbing jackets, one is light weight and one is real heavy all in one type of deal.

I have Gerbing gloves that work okay but my hands still get cold if it's 36 or lower.

I have the Corbin heated seats now and I have no idea how that's going to work.

I just ordered some of these for my grips.

I have some other ideas on keeping warm too. I plan on riding the Spyder all year so I'm going to have to deal with the cold even though it doesn't get too bad here, we still have a few weeks of 30's and some 20's.

I guess I better start getting prepared. Here in Phoenix we will start to have the cold 70's average temperature through the winter. I might have to wear a long sleeve shirt now! lol

How am I going to catch you on mileage if you ride all year too?! :cus:

If your tires end up flat at the bbq, it wasn't me.

;)

From a Michigan point of view, that was just plain mean! LOL

Gerbing jacket for me - like ridin around in a clothes dryer - so nice and toasty! I notice that I am warmer being the driver of the Spyder - it throws some heat. If I'm on the back my legs get cold.

Lamont how many MEGAWATTS is your :spyder:puttin out

+Mitts, hippos, silks, balaclavas, steel balls, etc. Never used electrics yet, and my record is 5 below for a 2-hour commute.

A taller shield would be nice, but otherwise I guess I'm ready for another winter of riding.

Ride on.
