• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Western ryders headin east

Where does everyone want to gather. 2hr ride from Conroe via the freeway 59/I-10. There is a fuel depot in Barbers Hill,,HWY146/I-10. Right on the corner at the intersection. Jumpoff.jumpon..
it should take about 40min to be in Winnie from there.

Craig, we can meet @ chevron 1314 around 6:00am. We can make up some time, especially that time of the morning heading over to 59.

If we all leave Barbers Hill around 7:30am, we should have plenty of time..IMHO

OBTW.. Barbers Hill is better known as Mont Belview.

Those who will leaving from the Port Arthur area, we can meet at the Gators on the corner of 365 and West Port Arthur Road ( Spur 93 ) at 8:00. We can have a nice ride down 365 to 124 then to 73. If someone has a different idea we are open to it.

HOUSTON WE MAY HAVE A PROBLEM

I called Al-T's this morning to make reservations for breakfast on October 6th for 15 to 20 people. I was told we cannot make reservations for that weekend because the Rice Festival and Winnie Trade Days will be in town. My question is do we want to take the chance of having a problem getting in or find somewhere else or changes the date? Please give me your input. We are good with whatever is decided.

Sincerely
Ray Young

we'll be able to make this ride and we are up for what ever...wait and eat at Al-T's or across the street is Waffle House

There will also be a parade might be a bit crowded ???

Since we're going to have lunch also, Do-nuts & hot black water is fine with me. Has anyone put thought in a place for lunch. Maybe some place along the Strand will have good greasy burgers and fries in fish-grease.
