• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I Need Passenger Foot Rest Extensions, Do these exists? My wife can not reach the passenger foot rest and I have them all the way up. Any suggestions other then some platform shoes. My wife is vertically challenge. I need to raise them about 3".

Foot rest extension available

When we were at Spyderfest this year, there was a couple there that was selling risers for the passenger foot boards. I'll have to see if I can find their business card. Hopefully someone else will also have this information as well.

we bought the extensions at Spiderfest. They are pretty good. You can go either way up or down. I needed them down, hip problems. We had to file them out to fit. I hope some one can help you with the contact info

Diamond R Accessories had the prototype of their floorboards which had extensions for both the driver and passenger at Lamonsters BBQ .They did not have a price on this as yet.the passenger and drivers floorboards were seperate each with the foot peg extension. From your description sounds like this is what is needed .

For the short run, I'd zip-tie a couple of wood blocks to the existing passenger boards.

Just because I'm not a site sponsor, doesn't mean I won't get mad when somebody steals my idea.............. :roflblack:

GP, you've prob figured this out already but underneath the pass rest are two screws/bolts that appear to hold the rubber mat. Maybe with the mat off, you could fit the 4 X 4 riser where the mat was and attach with couple longer screws from the bottom. Sand it, paint it, would look pretty good I think. Perhaps the mat could be attached to top of riser.

Somehow; the thought of mixing wood and metal on one of these bikes as a permanent fix just seems... wrong!
I hope that the information can be found so that a proper solution can be put into play!

:roflblack: Have it your way, but a block of aluminum that large would cost a pretty penny. It could be done with a fabricated box or bracket, but the question arises "Is it worth the time, effort, and $$$?" A painted wood block is a decent and relatively lightweight solution. Randy, notice that I said "PAINTED". :roflblack:

I know... I was just thinking that something that has been honeycombed out, polished and made to look as expensive as it probably is; would just be more fitting! :roflblack:

;)
I can dig it! :roflblack:
Those risers are bugging me; I haven't been able to find anything out on the web... :gaah:
I might have to just forget about this whole work thing: it's getting in the way of some serious fun!
