One week til Gatlinburg

By this time next week, dltang an I will be doing our final checks before heading out for Gatlinburg. My 6K service will be complete, our J&M CB communicators should be installed, her XOG GPS should be here and installed, my HERO 3 camera will be setup and my slider screen from F1 Windshields should be installed. To get all this done will make this a busy week but we'll have next week to have fun and the following week we can rest. We'll see you Monday afternoon Director and hopefully we'll be getting a Bushtec hitch installed on dltang's Spyder Tuesday morning just before we roll in to Gatlinburg. Can't wait to see all you folks who will be attending.

It looks very promising for out Bustec hitch and we are talking to them about modifying one of their trailers to carry out dog, we'll see how that turns out. I am getting very excited, this week can't fly by fast enough for me. But we do have so much to do.

Lamont, on Thursday, we will probably head down your way early, maybe you can give us some ideas of some nice rides to take that a way, that we won't get into any trouble or get lost on. I don't want everything to be so planned and jampacked for the week that it doesn't feel like a vacation, if you know what I mean. Here are the definites that we want to hit, Meet and Greet Tuesday, provided it is still going on when we roll into town. The group Tail of the Dragon Ride on Wed. Lamonts BBQ on Thursday and Famous Daves on Friday. Everything else is basically fly by the seat of our pants.

If you get here in the morning I might be able to take you on a nice little ride to Hot Springs and back. Not a long ride but it follows a river most of the way. :doorag:

yup, the J&M CB's should be here tomorrow. We'll have them all hooked up and ready to go. Glad to hear you have one too.

Make sure you bring the rain gear..suppose to rain next week early but tues/Wen looking good so far. Of course, I am a firm believer, nobody can predict weather 10 days away..lol.

Got all my pre-trip mods completed this weekend. Leaving the Fri. for a few visits on the way up prior to the rally. A Spyder ride. What a wonderful birthday vacation. See you all there. Ryde Safe and Enjoy:thumbup:

I agree 100% I see your birthday is on the 20th and mine is on the 29th, we need to have a cake at the BBQ and have a combo party.
