• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check engine light starts flashing, VSS, DPS, you know the drill.

C0040
P2545
U0122

I swapped the relays around, checked all the fuses, both under the frunk and seat.
Battery connections are tight at the battery and the jump posts under the seat, battery checks good according to snap-on tester.
Brake lights(pep boys led 1157s, been working fine for months) still work.
All four wheel sensor air gaps are good.

Anybody have any hints, tips or tricks?:helpsmilie:

C0040 = Brake pedal switch failure - Mechanical defect or wrong mounting of BLS, BLS line interruptioon, defective brake light bulbs

P2545 = VSS failure (etc.) - VSS light on, etc. (can be caused by brake light error)

U0122 = VCM communication fault - Typically damaged or disconnected wires, but can be caused by brake light error.

I'd check for burned out brake lights, blown fuse, or shorted wires. Could also be a brake switch failure. The load compensator in one or both LED bulbs may have failed. Others have had that problem. Changing to conventional 1157s should cure things in that case.

Could also be that your foot is riding on the brake? even just a little for a distance can cause this fault.
