loose guard plates on hindle-----?

somebody point me in the right direction? i know it must have hit here before, but my hindle exhaust heat shield plates are loose. the rivets seem to have loosened up. what do you have to do, drill out the existing rivets and replace them or is there a better fix?:dontknow:

i think peeps use locktite superglue. drop or two in each rivet. they say it works.:2thumbs:

Use the normal, runny type. A couple of drops, move the plate to get the glue around the rivet, put a couple more drops on, let it dry and then go ryding.:thumbup:

You could also go the permanent way and drill the rivets to remove them.. there is sufficient room for you to fit a bolt and a nut..

I went to Lowes and bought some stainless steel screws and finish washer with speed clips.
