• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed pipe a week ago and noticed it running worse each day I ride it, I also changed the air filter with a k & n. Anyone have any problems like this, I went to my dealer and there is no mapping out for the spyder yet so he suggested that it is probably running a little lean thats why its idling so bad. It does get up and go when you apply the throttle but just running around town its pretty sick. anyone with any ideas???? thanks

Disconnect your battery for about 20 min. or so and then ride it around. The computer will relearn the fuel curves needed.

thanks I will try that tomorrow.. I tried it and it did make quit a bit of difference when you not heavy on the throttle. I will agree the pipe is quite loud, but atleast people will hear you before they turn into your lane???? thanks for the info lamonster.

I have the Aluminum on mine....Been on there for a Couple of Weeks....Ive noticed that when your "On the Pipe" She Runs Great....!!! However,,,,Slower Speeds you need to finesse it a little more....Keep it "On the Pipe" and it will be fine......

Soooo,,,,Just disconnect the battery for approx. 20 min. Reconnect and run it???? Or is there something else to the Story.....???

Nope. That will clear the Spyder's memory of all the accumulated data that its been using to determine spark, fuel, etc. settings that it acquired with the stock exhaust. It will then relearn how to best run the engine with the new exhaust. Even if you don't disconnect the battery, the Spyder will relearn how to run the engine with the new exhaust but it takes longer.

I think you need to install a O2 simulator. is highly suggested when you have aftermarket pipe. Ken sells them for $90 i think on his website. and is suppose to help your bike runs more lean with performance pipe...

I am a bit upset now because i have place an order with Berts for Carbon Fiber two brother pipes, and they call me and told me that two brothers arent making the carbon fiber finish yet for spyder. and so i opt for the aluminum finish... i wonder if i should call two brother to confirm that information... and perhaps insist Berts to get me what i originally order.

I've got the two brothers Carbon fiber M-2 vale on my Spyder....it runs nice and crisp but i find it a tad too loud...(IT WAS ATTRACTING THE WRONG TYPE OF ATTENTION).It's way louder than the full race systems on my Ducati's so i'm going to install the PI-R Power tip to drop of 3 or 4 notches on the noise meter..
