• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Larger brake pedal needed

I think I haved seen a few pictures of a larger break pad/pedel for the RT. Every so often my foot hangs up at the transistion between the painted body panel and the black plastic piece below. I have had 3 near misses now. I think because the pedel is so small I have to keep my foot too close to the body. Can anyone direct me to a supplier?

Thanks,

Randy

Larger Brake Pedal

I am right there with ya!! I pushed down on it with my toe, but not square on like I should be because my toe gets jammed up against the plastic. So a couple of times not able to stop as quickly as I would like.

post from another thread.

Here is another extended brake pad. http://www.esicycleproducts.com/spyd...dalcovers.html

Scroll down, they have 2 sizes. The ESI billet brake pedal is not quite as long as the one we are discussing on here, but it does look nicer. It is longer than the OEM. Having use both of the aftermarket ones, i find that they both work fine and better than the OEM

OEM 2 1/4"
ESI Ext 3 1/4"
Tric led 4 1/4"

Large Brake Pedal

Contact Reggie or Steve at Tric LED. I had their large brake pedal installed on our RT-S at Spyderfest.

Larger Brake Pedal

I found and bought one for $35 at Tricled.

You have to look under "New Items" ti
find it.

The picture shows the new old at the top
and the factory beneath.

I also put it on my RS as a parking break. I kept hitting my ankle because the factory one was way to short. It works great without any problems. BRP needs to take note. Its a safety problem.
