• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So what did you take home from Spyderfest?

Brought back

The wife GI Jane and I went on two gs spiders, mine had 53,000 & hers about 27,000 miles, but both running well. She found one she liked,RT, so I told her to buy it. Well being the sweet person she is she would not unless I got one. So I looked and found a RT I liked. Len made such a good deal the rest is history. Two new RTs and smiles all the way home. Not to mention the new friends who I hope to see often.

The new Elka's are just awesome and worth the trip alone! I woulda and coulda spent a lot more on other farkles, but need to save up for that trip to Colorado in June.

Many thanks to both the old friends I saw again and the new ones made along the way - the memories are the most important part of an event like this!

Rode out on 2 2008 RS's (hubby and me). Made an appointment for new shocks and then started looking at the beautiful RTs in the showroom. We felt like Len was giving us a great deal so.........we rode back on a Spyderfest special SE5 and blue Performance Package RTs. I think we may hold the record for spending. Don't regret the decision even though we'll be eating ramen noodles until next Spyderfest

Good thing they come in three flavors. :roflblack:

Dropped a chunck of change

Where do i start!

bump skid (tested works great)

fender lights

cup holders

hobobag

t-shirts

hoodie

custom photo shoot (cool)

wine

great roads, great spyder family, great event, great memories:thumbup:

I had a great time Lamont, I had my doubts about the mental therapy aspect of the trip but I am a believer. I did not spend quite as much as I had hoped to since the flag holders for the RT where out of stock the day before I decided to buy them, but I did get some patches put on my jacket, some wine from two of the stops on the passport run, a small fortune was spent at the glass factory (got an octopus), and I got some more lights from Reggy. I had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone on the road again soon. Oh one of my favorite things is the Welcome Ryders banner that is hanging in my office, $40

I loved that Octopus. Which one did you get. I didn't think I could of got it home in one piece. and didn't want to spend the money being we were buying gas for two:spyder2: this year. That in itself cost us over $700. Plus we got the Elkas for John's RT.

Looks like we left our mark in a good way. It's cool to see those of you that went home with new Spyders, how cool is that! :doorag::2thumbs:

Nancy bought a vase that we watched being blown while we were there. They shipped it to us with no problems. Got it a couple of days after we got home. How cool is that?

Spyderfest

I'm so jealous.......sounds like I missed a great time. I've been riding less than a year and have made plans and reservations for Lamont's BBQ since its closer to me. I hope some of these vendors will be at the BBQ.

New RT

Got a new RT Bronze I guess, added decals, Dash details, and Tail light before I rode it, got fair deal on the RS, now for all the mods to start over. Will up date page soon with all mods.:yes::yes::yes:

Don't forget the Ramon noodles for a while....lol. You two are great!

We all contributed to Cuba's economy. Don't even want to add up all we spent and while I did not have much time to shop I did get spyderpops bumper plate on and also baker air wings. Love them both. So glad I got o both early before everyone else!

Well lets see, 9 bottles of wine, 6 t-shirts(one custom with a picture of my Spyder from Owensville Mo. passport run), LED turn signals, misc stickers and patches etc etc etc........
Breakfast, lunch and dinner most days.
Bottle of Ibuprophen.
One full frunk "whats the load limit on that again? keep in mind only 4 bottles of wine made it home!!!
FlamingoBabe and Hotglue made me do it? (I did my sales job on FlamingoBabe and the next day she went into Owensville and got a custom Spyder pic t-shirt)
Spyderfest had to be a huge shot in the arm for Cuba Missouri's economy for that week
Oh and lets not forget the friendly POLICE OFFICER in Bourbon MO. who pulled me over during a passport ride for my Blue LED's on the front lower A-arms.....No Charge!!!
But my BIGGEST investment was the new friends I have met and the hope I have knowing this all happens again next year..........right???
:clap::):yes:

Elka shocks all the way around, CanAm boots for me (wife couldn't find any that fit her or she would would have had a pair also), she did find some colored glass ear rings and necklace at the glass blowing stop on the passport ride, several tee shirts, lots of pie (ate on site of course) and lots and lots of great memories!!:yes::clap:
