• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT turn signal switch

After reading several posts about the turn signal not working as it should...going crazy when trying to cancel, I tried something and it works.
First, I sprayed the inside with some contact spray. The left turn position seemed easy, but the right position felt really rough and restricted. I then sprayed the inside with an oil spray. Both left and right positions are now smooth as silk and the cancellation is just a slight push and "zingo"...cancelled.

I just use the little "straw" on the can, moved the switch lever to one side and sprayed. Didn't use grease, just an oil spray.

Radio shack make 2 one with lubricant and the othe without . Do not use regular oil as it will gum up

LUBRICANT

Di-electric " Grease " is not grease in the sense you are probably thinking ( like automotive ). It would probably be OK as a lubricant...But I would use pure " Silicone " spray, I don't think any petrochemicals are used in it.....Mike.....

I will wait to see what happens. Oil often deteriorates plastic.

I agree with NancysToy that oil will deteriorate plastic I am going to check out the Radio Shack contact cleaner with lubricant and also Dudley's suggestion Starrett M1 Lubricant.

I have some silicone spray and I will try that too.

Thanks for everyone's help

If I cannot find a solution I will taking the spyder back to dealer as it is still under warranty.
