• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just bought a Mini Roadster S

It's funny that the mini roadster isn't much longer than the Spyder and about the same width. Now the hard part is deciding which one to take to work. At least now on the really hot days I can go with the ride that has A/C.

Great car, My Son just got a Mini a few month's ago, 6speed but not the ''S'', I cant believe the MPGs.
42 MPG going to work down Rt 80.

Our MINI Hardtop has been built and is waiting for shipping...
:congrats: on yours!

Wouldn't Tink prefer the convertible? Our dog hates to be in a car unless the top comes down and the wind blows through her hair. When my gf took two $5/hr cuts and then lost her job, the $491/month for her Chrysler Crossfire convertible became a stretch and she got rid of it. I'm thinking of the Roadster convertible.

Believe it or not; I've never been comfortable in convertibles... Something about my head being out in the wind without a helmet just... :yikes:
Besides, I've got my convertible: the RT! :2thumbs:
But those Roadsters look like more fun than should be legal...  :firstplace:
And the Coupes don't look too shabby either!

My Brother was in the same position: He had a Kawasaki Vulcan 800: 40mpg. He went out and bought one of those Toyota Echos...45 mpg and now no longer rides at all! :gaah:

I test drove a Mini Roadster Conv. the other day. Absolutely loved it (even with the 121hp engine). It is a blast to drive!!! Ialso test drove a John Cooper Works Roadster Coupe (used). The thing is a beast with 208hp. :) Going to have to own one some day, but for now I couldn't bear to part with the Wrangler (Coopers are not known for thier off road capabilities). :lecturef_smilie:

Tracking our MINI on their website... It's at the dealers!! :2thumbs:

Bob, I'm sure your the same quiet, low key, rarely post type of member on the mini sites, rite???:roflblack:.

Congrats on the mini. My sister had a cooper s a few yrs back. I drove it a few times, and it was a fun machine....
