2012 RT Limited Parking Brake Fault

I took my 2012 RT Limited for a short ride after work today. I only have about 230 miles on it .
I got off the Spyder for a few minutes and left it running in neutral with the parking break on. When I got back on I took the parking brake off and started riding. That's when I got the parking brake fault. Other than the fault showing the Spyder ran fine. I could stop and engage and disengage the parking brake with no problems.

I did not want to shut the Spyder off until I got home in case it was an electrical issue. However once I did shut it off, I waited a few minutes and started it back up with no parking brake fault. I then rode it a few more miles and the fault never came back.

Has anyone had an issue like this with a 2012 RT Limited?

I had it happen two times. Both times I did not wait for the light to go out.
Had the bick check nothing wrong.

A loose or faulty fuse (F3 in front trunk), or low brake fluid levels (reservoir beneath the seat) can cause this indicator lamp to appear on the screen.

I would check my brake fluid level to ensure that it is above the minimum level mark. If it is, then I would open the front compartment and firmly seat the F3 fuse (it could be slightly loose). Instructions are contained in your owner's manual.

Thanks. I'll check both. However it was not the indicator lamp that was on. It was the Parking Brake Fault that comes up on the entire infotainment screen and then just appears at the bottom where the trip odometer is.

The issue is now gone, as I believe once I shut the Spyder off the computer system reset itself and in so doing corrected itself. At least that is my guess. I'm just curious why it came on in the first place. I'm going to mention it when I bring it in for the 600 mile check up, although it may be hard for them to fix whats not broken especially if there is no code.
