KewlMetal Mirror Extensions parts

Still no replacement parts from KewlMetal. The two little screws are rusted in less than two months. This issue was addressed to their customer support 7.6.08. :sour:

Yeah I got no response from them as well......I am a bit concerned...I have bought several things from them but seems their customer service is a bit lacking!

I thought Mad Matt was saying that they were sending free, upgraded replacement screws to any that asked for them. I would try contacting them again. I had the same issue with my Thibault rack and I went out and bought stainless screws for the whole thing.

About 10 mins after I sent them an email about the rusty screws, I received a response saying they would send new ones out right away (which they did).

Got mine from KewlMetal. Had a bit of delay, but they got here OK. I think they had to get a new supply that has a stronger finish.

Ordered mine today. The gal on the phone said they are on back order and would ship in 2 or 3 weeks. She said they'd modified the finish and fixed the issue with rusting. Can't wait to get them installed :2excited:

I ordered my extensions three weeks ago. Every time I ask when they will ship they say within two weeks. I don't understand why they don't have a more definitive date.

We have new screws in stock that are all black stainless and will not rust. We are mailing those out no charge to anyone who asks. We generally send them USPS which it seems has been taking 2 weeks or more to reach the east coast. As far as mirror extensions, our shop dropped the ball and gave us a story about not receiving the PO for those a month ago. So, sometimes these things get a little beyond our control, and we apologise for any delays. The next batch of mirror extensions is now on the production schedule and I will see what I can do to move it up as much as possible. Once they get on the CNC machine, it will only be a day or 2 to finish the run.
