• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Cutting bars no big deal! Loose NO WAY!

Would I get more rise by taking off the 1" riser and getting a 4" riser or would it be the same distance by keeping the 1" and going with a 3" riser? I don't know if the BRP riser just moves the bars up instead of up and back. I need them to be moved back and have not noticed any difference after installing the 1" riser. Any ideas?

I think the BRP riser does get the bars back a little bit because the steering post is at a slight angle but it is really a miniscule amount. If you wanted more back than up, I would guess that the removal of the BRP riser and installing the 4" NMN risers would be for you.

Only after installing the 1" BRP riser the clutch briefly touch the F1 windshield. Will the NMM 3" riser solve this problem? :dontknow:

I was thinking the same thing. I guess I will call and change my order yet again!

I have the BRP 1 inch riser and the NMN 3 inch riser and my clutch lever just touches the Calsic windshield the smallest amount in full lock right turn.

Nothing that would ever matter as to do that you have to be almost stopped or just moving at the slowest od speeds like bacling up or U-turning.

You could eliminate that by just adjusting the risers to have a little more pullback than rise, right? Or you could cut a clutch lever notch in your windshield.... :D :joke:

We're talking a tiny brush against it. No way would you ever need to cut anything.

It works just great as is, and I'm real picky about stuff.

Can someone compare NMN's risers to KewlMetal's 5" or 7" bars?
I understand it's how one measures the bars, so I'm confuse with 3" or 4" risers vs. 5" or 7" bars.

I don't have the PE plates, so preserving the center plate is not a concern.

I like both options and still considering both ways of doing it. I really like the way that MM has them....but at the same time wondering if more "motorcycle" accessories could be added to the motorcycle bars....like speakers for instance..where would I clamp them to with the NMN risers installed? Maybe make my bars extra long coming out of them so I have additional roundbar space to clamp gadgets to?

That's a pretty cool idea.:thumbup::doorag::spyder:

I have the same question. I have ordered 3" risers but what I really need is for the bars to come closer to me. I am wondering if I need to get the Pullback bars instead of the risers as I understand the risers only raise! Have I mentioned that being short can be a pain sometimes!!:dontknow:

These rotate as well as rise. If you rotate them back they will have less of a rise but they will be closer to you. Evan has his pulled back pretty far and I have mine more straight up and down.

The stock bars have a rise too so you have to subtract that when you replace the bars. Not sure what the stock rise is but I would guess 2" or so.:dontknow:
