These are my homemade floorboards and they are strong, I weigh 245 lbs and there is no give on them. made out of 1/8 inch Diamond plate Aluminum 24inch long and 9 inches width. there are 4 bolts holding them in place. My :spyder2: looks good with them and very confortable.[/QUOT
Looks great, reminds me of the "Pups" by Sealfloor Boards.

Looks great! :2thumbs: I hope you have some kind of anti-slip spray/chemical on them. I know diamond plate can get very slick when wet. My Seal Floorboards have a layer of rubber that looks like diamond plating.
built some homemade floorboarde for my2010rt a\c se5 out of 1/4 diamond treadplate I think they are going to be ok:yes:

Pardon my confusion, but are Floyd and neelbert the same person? Or are we still waiting to see pics of neelbert's floorboards? Maybe I'm just suffering from Monday morning madness :dontknow::roflblack:
Hey Floyd, can you post a pic of the bracket you made to mount under the rear footrest?
Looking forward to seeing your floorboards. :2thumbs:neelbert,s :spyder2:is still in the shopi'll post some pics when I get it back

The Boards are mounted on a homemade bracket that after you raise the passanger board up and slide my bracket down in place than put the board back in place. Drilled 2 holes to bolt it to. I used a 1/2 square steel tube and cut 2 pieces 2 inches long and 2 pieces 1 1/2 inch long than weld the 2 inch at the end of the tube and come in 3/4 inch and weld the short one in place than drilled 2 holes for the bolts to anchor to. I painted them before installed.:spyder2::2thumbs:
I've seen these in person. Impressive. Floyd put all his weight up on one and it didn't budge. Very solid construction and from the back with the angle created from the install you can hardly tell they are even there. All kinds of foot positions to explore. Nice job brother!!View attachment 41207View attachment 41208These are my homemade floorboards and they are strong, I weigh 245 lbs and there is no give on them. made out of 1/8 inch Diamond plate Aluminum 24inch long and 9 inches width. there are 4 bolts holding them in place.
