Trans Filter Bolts.

While changing oil rounded out Trans Filter bolt and after a few attempts the Old Vice Grips got it off.
Replaced with True Value Hardware M6 x 35 Hex head bolts (Class 8) for $.70 Each. Won,t round out again.

I Know the oil filter is also M6 BUT anyone know if their the same length because they get replaced next change?

OK- The oil filter Bolts are M6 x 30.

There are torque settings on the all the bolts and drain plugs. If they are over torqued the bolts will deform the threads in the HCM plate and the crank case. This can cause them to leak or the bolts to come lose and/or strip out. That's IMHO.
