• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A little help!

So I get the new RT home drive off the trailer into the driveway and shut down. A little while later a neighbor who is dying to get one comes over and lo and
behold the Spyder won't start. Everything lights up but when I hit the start button it cranks for a split second but dies. Lights on dash stay lit but the dash resets it's pre
start boot. All the lights on the dash stay lit and no codes are displayed but hitting the mode button and trying to start gives the same result. Naturally the dealer is close7d for the day. Any ideas?

Hi Clicker1944. I'm not an expert by any means but,,, did you hit the kill switch by any chance? It happens a lot you know. Friends will also do this to you sometimes when you're not looking!!!
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Dead Battery or Loose Battery Cables.

Dead Battery or Loose Battery Cables. Check connections and charge. To charge go buy a Battery Tender Jr for ~$30

No, kill switch was first thing I looked at. Also, you get no cranking with kill switch off.

Thanks everyone with it being a 2011 leftover it could very well not have a full charge.

I agree with the brake theory, it may still be in gear, nanny requires it to be in nutral to start or foot on brake

Not the brake, it wouldn't start at all. Not the kill switch, it wouldn't crank. I would check the battery charge and the battery connections (at the battery, not under the seat). Also check to see that the relays are tightly seated. Beyond that it could be a bad cluster, bad/loose rear ground connection (negative jumper terminal under the seat), or a loose wiring connector.

:opps:You are correct sir, didn't see that it tried.:opps: Brake theory debunked, stepping away from the thread.

Put my neighbors battery charger on it, and happy to say....problem solved.
Thank you all for your help and ideas!!! You are great as usual!!!
