I just happened to be perusing Craigslist and came upon this. I'm not sure but I don't think this is a Can Am Spyder. Is it one of those Chinese imitations?

Why isn't it street legal in CA Bob? The freeway I can understand but in city is another. Your smaller bikes are not freeway legal I know.

I am sorry, I meant legal in California, and I do not remember why.

Okay, found their web site (http://www.powersportsmax.com), and in the add it states not legal in California because of C.A.R.B. info.

It's always a confidence builder to see the guy demonstrating it refer to the gas shocks as "nitrous shocks"!!! Also the engine is so fine tuned that you have to change the oil every 800 miles with a breaking in oil change after 100 miles. This is really a POS and will no doubt make those who know nothing about Can Am Spyders think they are the same.

The picture in the ad is worse than the video! It IS ugly! I emailed the guy selling it and told him I knew it wasn't a Spyder because I owned one. Wonder why he advertised it as a Spyder?

I watched the video, at the end it looks more like a "Tadpole".. Wonder if it would hold up to a real engine..883 sportster.. I know there are a few out here that have been trying to get thier Spyders exhaust to go "Patatoe,Patatoe".:roflblack:..me included

The exhaust will never do it, Its the 45 degree V twin that makes the Potato's.
