• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drove my Dad the 3 hrs and 45 min to Cowtown today for his first visit there to pick up his new toy! He really loves it and loves the white!
Thanks Len and Cowtown for the great buying experience!

We are already planning a 10 day trip together to North Carolina/Virginia area this May or June!

That's Awesome

That is so awesome! My Dad would have loved the Spyder and I would have loved taking him for the ride. Enjoy the time together my friend, life is too short not to. Let us know if you come through our part of NC.

You're very lucky to to share such a great experience with your Dad. I hope you both have many years of wonderful times and travels together.

What a great way to spend time with your dad. I'll bet he took you fishing when you were a kid. Congrats to dad on the purchase. Neither of you will be disappointed. :doorag:

Congratulations!! Enjoy every second with your dad. You get to do what so many of us wish we could. My dad passed away when I was 19 years old. Life is so short and precious. Keep us updated on his opinion of the SPYDER. Happy trails to you:)

Agreed. Mine passed away when I was three as the result of a motorcycle accident. It would have been his 59th birthday earlier this week. Needless to say, my mom wasn't thrilled when she found out I wanted to ride. Though has calmed down a bit when she actually saw the Spyder.

Thanks everyone! He's about to turn 80 (though seems more like in his 60s physically) this summer and me 50, so I am very excited to have a hobby we can share as our ages advance. One of the best attributes about the Spyder IMHO is how it can be enjoyed by all ages!

Congratulation to you and your Dad. My dad gave me my love of motorcycles. I miss him a lot and wish he were here to ride with me. I know he would have loved the spyders. So glad you will have time to ride with him. Enjoy the time
