• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Major tire wear issue

Its been in the shop for over 2 months now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

between parts getting lost and taking 2 weeks to get in, to bad weather so they couldn't test ride it. I am pretty upset but can't do anything about it. I have made 2 payments on the bike and haven't even got to see her :( Not to happy with the stealership. Going to call tomorrow and get some answer, or they can just keep the damn thing and give me some money!:cus::cus::banghead:
I would contact Carlo to see if he can expedite matters. nojoke

I must be lucky

I've read about this and also know one local rider that has had same problem. Tires wearing out to fast. I have 12,500+miles on mine
and front tires look like new. Rear tire shows wear in the center. Although outer edges look great. I'm not hard on them mostly two up and highway miles. Hope that helps.

Well I just found out that the tires that are totally balled on the inside WILL NOT BE REPLACED under warrenty even thought BRP"S MACHINE IS what caused it!!!!!!!!!!

Also the rotors are not being replaced unless I pay $250 a rotor! Needless to say, I am not replacing the tires right now, and I am selling this giant POS unless ski-doo will do something about this. I will post as much as possible to say how much the company will not help with warrenty work, as well as how bad the stealership in cheyenne is.

I am 100% upset about this and will not be happy until it is resold WITHOUT my wallet getting lighter. Who is Carlo, and how do I get ahold of him?

A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE

When this thread was originally started, (Sept. 2011), I commented that I got 15,000 miles out of my rear tire and that at the time of my post (Oct. 2011) I had 21,000 "and change" on my front tires.

It wasn't too long thereafter that I had new tires put on the front. I rode my spyder for a short time and noticed severe tire wear on the outsides of the tires. I took my spyder back to my dealer, Seminole Power Sports of Sanford, Florida, and pointed this out to them. They agreed that these new tires should not be wearing out the way they were.

They began by not only performing a new alignment, but a tweaking of my shock settings. (another thread). In addition to the tire wear, my spyder wasn't handling the way it had been or what I thought it should be. As I said in that other thread, I was able to get my shocks "dialed in" exactly the way I wanted.

Thursday of this week I took my spyder in for it's 24,000 service. (note that I only had roughly 3,000 miles plus) on the new front tires. Seminole Power Sports not only performed the 24,000 service, BUT they also installed brand new front tires AT NO COST TO ME.:yes::yes: This dealership is platinum designated and I can see why with this type of service.

Carlo is the main customer service guy for the Spyders. [email protected] He is out of the office until January, but someone else should be able to assist you.

I will be Contacting them to see what they can do. If I would have known about the alignment/tire/rotor problems, I would have never bought a spyder.... or at least waited until the bugs were out.
