• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got a bunch done on the RT today. Got all the chrome on and moved my GPS and got the fender lights installed. I'm really happy with the way this thing turned out. Just waiting on my Corbin seat and it will pretty much be done. :doorag:

Lamont, outstanding Setup. Most Rad!
Would it be too much to ask for the RAM list of parts you used to mount the 665.
Thanks again for all your help. You Rock!:doorag:

But seriously...
I've got to agree with Dan...
Don't you know by now that these projects are NEVER done?

:roflblack:

I see you decided to go with the LED Front Mud Flap Replacement Kit. You had mentioned in an earlier post that you weren't sure about adding them because of video issues with them. Looks great!

I'm not sure about hooking them up into the triple play because of the video. I think I'll set them up as turn signals but not brake lights this time.

How about just putting a switch on the mudflap lights, so you can kill them when you video?
That is an option I thought about. Last time I just put some black tape over the lights when I was shooting with the BRP road crew. I may just do that though seeing I'm running out of things to do. :doorag:

Why not pick up another RS and start improving it then? :D
When you run out of ideas it's time to call on your buddies!

:D Just pull it in here and grab some wrenches!
Don't worry... This won't hurt me a bit! :roflblack:
Where's the MIG plugged in?? :yikes:

Question

Are you using a metal backing or just bolting thru the plastic? Also, what are you using for a backing on your drink holder?
I"m sure it's to early to ask for a true assessment, but how is your 665 working? There had been some concerns about the first models not working well with the SAT Weather or XM.
Being winter I'm sure you'll need some go summer ryding to get some miles with it.
Thanks for the answers for the RAM mounts. :ani29:

Mouting GPS to Dash

How did you mount the GPS to the dash? I saw the same question but didn't see a reply and that is probably I am not versed in blogging. Did you have to take the dash apart.? I want to do this MOD. I think the only variation I am going to do is add a sun shield that goes from the dash to over the GPS to give better viewing in the sun and to hide the mount as you look from the frunk thru the windscreen. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
