• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

trying to fix the leo vince exhaust that fell apart and they wanted nothing to do with helping me out or from evlozone where I bought it and they said they would help if I had trouble.

If you order a box of tigg welding sticks it seems to be 100 to 1000 bucks depending on who you ask.

I just need 2 or 3 at the most, anyone have a box and want to sell a few? I would put up pics of what it was and how my roommate fixed it up.

You need a little more than that. First it has to be really really clean before welding and you need to backup the back side of the weld with argon or else your weld will become very brittle and it will crack. Best to take it to someone who's set up to weld titanium.

MY roommate is one of the best welders in the area, he just can't schedule for ****. The only thing we were missing were the stick for it.

he actually fixed it the first time by extending the 90 pipe farther into the can so it would bypass the crack in the bottom, but the top started to go and the can under the carbon fiber pushed off. SO it will have to be welded there.

This pipe also made me buy a big ass rivet gun that could put SS rivets in which you can NOT do with a regular one consistently, I have two broken ones to prove that.

I would like to see if this can be done and if you two are right I would have to say "lamont you sir, were right again" but I would to make sure it can't be done. Just need the material to prove it either way.

I'm sure your roommate is a great welder and can get the job done. Back when I did this for a living I had 17 certs and did welding procedures for company's like Arco Alaska, Bath Iron Works, General Electric, Mercedes Binz of Brazil just to name a few. Most everything I did was converting their company from a TIG welding process to a Pulse GMAW and Synergic Pulsed GMAW to speed up production and weld quality. I worked with some pretty crazy material including duplex stainless and HY120-140.

I'm not trying to prove anyone wrong here but there is a lot more to doing a quality job welding titanium. Here's a link that will give you more than you ever wanted to know about welding titanium. :doorag:
